The Anthemis Enviroment laboratory offers environmental, microbiological and industrial chemical analysis services for companies and institutions. ADVICE

Modeling of physical and chemical agents, consultancy and physical analysis

  • Predictive modeling of acoustic and atmospheric impacts;

  • Analysis and sampling of noise in environmental acoustics and application of the indications referred to in Law 447/95, Ministerial Decree of 16 March 1998 regarding the measurement of noise in the environment;

  • Noise analysis and sampling in an industrial environment according to technical standards and industrial hygiene regulations;

  • Analysis and sampling plans for the definition of the level of exposure of personnel and workers to vibrations transmitted to the whole body and to the hand-arm system;

  • Monitoring plans and sampling of electromagnetic fields in living and working environments;

ANALYSES

FAUNA
Monitoring and census of the avifauna through listening points and observation of the migration and the realization of monitoring through transects.

FLORA
Phytosanitary monitoring aimed at monitoring pathogenic organisms.
Tree stability assessment using the VTA (Visual Tree Assessment ) methodology.
Endotherapy phytosanitary treatment for tall trees through endoxylematic injections (specific aids).

WATERS
Chemical-physical and microbiological analysis of surface water, waste water and specific destination water. National and international methods and standards (APAT-IRSA-CNR, APHA, UNICHIM, ASTM, EPA, UNI-EN, ISO).
Sampling of surface water, groundwater from piezometer, wastewater and drinking water from the water supply points.
Technical advice on the requirements imposed by the legislation in force for the destination of the withdrawal points.
Sampling and recognition of macrobenthos using the STAR_ICMi index to provide a synthetic assessment of the quality of surface running waters.

REFUSES
Analysis of waste and characterization for the judgments of suitability for disposal in landfills or for recovery.
Waste transfer test and analysis of the parameters on the eluate.
Allocation of the CER code.
Physico-chemical analysis of oils destined for disposal.
Field radioactivity for recoverable and demolition waste.
Analysis of chemical-physical parameters of excavated earth and rocks.

SOILS FROM SURVEYS
Chemical analysis of soil samples for the determination of pollution parameters.
Study of sampling plans in compliance with technical standards and legislation (EU-ITA).
Execution of mechanized excavations and coring for the taking of samples.
Drafting of characterization plans, studies and technical reports to verify and ascertain the level of characterization.

ASBESTOS
Checks in stereo-microscopy of observation of the sample.
Mass material analysis by applying Fourier transform infrared spectrophotometry (FT-IR).
Analysis of airborne fibers , sampled on the filter membrane, via phase contrast optical microscopy (MOCF).
Evaluation and drafting of judgment reports on the state of conservation of asbestos cement roofs.

AGRICULTURAL LANDS, FERTILIZERS AND COMPOST
Execution of the indications referred to in Ministerial Decree 13/09/99 (Approval of the official methods of chemical analysis of the soil) as regards the method of analysis and sampling of soil for agricultural use.
Analysis of fertilizers, compost and agronomic products to verify the requirements imposed by current legislation, as well as the qualitative and quantitative characteristics of elements and minerals.

INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE
Sampling and analysis of airborne pollutants (NIOSH, OSHA, MDHS, UNI).
Determination of the environmental concentration and of the occupational exposure level for comparison with the threshold limits and the TLV-TWA limits of ACGIH.
Advice on risk prevention and protection techniques in the event that the investigations highlight a high risk for workers.
Sampling and analysis of total bacterial load and total mycotic load in environments subject to biological risk.

Sampling and analysis of industrial emissions from stationary sources, according to Legislative Decree 152 of 03/04/2006
