On the website of the Metropolitan City of Turin, at this link , the “Report on the state of the waste management system” for the year 2021 has been published.
The annual report, prepared by the Provincial Waste Observatory, drawn up with the support of the universal civil service volunteers and thanks to the contribution of ATO-R, Basin Consortia and public service contractors, reports the quantitative data of the collection, treatment and waste disposal, as well as information on the environmental quality of the plants. The 2021 edition reports the final data for the year 2020.
The Report is part of a consolidated tradition of monitoring and dissemination of data, initiated by the Province of Turin with the publication of the first annual report in February 2000, with data referring to 1999, and continued over the years. The Observatory has always performed monitoring and support functions for the implementation of the Administration’s strategies as well as being used as a forecasting tool.
For years, Anthemis Environment Srl has been carrying out design services for environmental restoration and permitting interventions relating to sites intended for waste management and waste management activities.
