Description

The AgriFood Project is based on the preparation and construction of a site for horticultural production on municipal land, through the use of two innovative
HORTObot machinery to be installed in adjacent greenhouses. The project also envisages the construction of a fresh-cut laboratory where the horticultural products grown on site can be used.

The objectives of the project are as follows:
• Sustainable development of the primary sector;
• Quality food production;
• Distribution of the product at KM 0, with use in school canteens, nursing homes and town centers;
• Inclusion of the project in the training plan of schools for environmental and food education
• Dissemination of the knowledge of Precision Agriculture in the local sector;
• Promotion and development of local workers;
• Organic certification of the product;
• Control over the use of pesticides and pesticides
